Chylismiella pterosperma, with the scientific name Chylismiella pterosperma (S.Watson) W.L.Wagner & Hoch, is a species of evening primrose commonly called wingfruit suncup. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Chylismiella. This plant is native to the western United States, and it grows in several habitat types, including sagebrush. It is a slender annual herb that grows an erect stem reaching up to around 14 centimeters tall. Its leaves grow up to 3 centimeters long and are densely covered in bristly hairs. Its nodding inflorescence produces flowers with white petals, each less than 3 millimeters long. The petals are sometimes yellow near their bases, and fade to purple as they wither. The fruit is a straight capsule around 1 to 3 centimeters long, with a thick wing running down its center.
