Chrysops relictus, commonly known as the twin-lobed deerfly, is a moderately large deerfly species found in Europe and Asia. Adults measure approximately 8 to 10.5 millimetres (0.31 to 0.41 inches) in length. Its larvae feed on organic matter in damp soils, and are classified as hydrobionts because they live in areas with high water content.
