About Chrysopa oculata Say, 1839

Chrysopa oculata is a species of green lacewing that belongs to the family Chrysopidae. It is naturally distributed across the continent, ranging from Canada in the north down to Mexico in the south. This species was brought to New Zealand in 1926 as an agent for aphid population control, but it never became an established population in New Zealand.
