Chrysolarentia subrectaria (Guenée) is a moth species that belongs to the family Geometridae. It was originally described by Achille Guenée. There has been historical confusion over the publication date of its original description, but research published in 2024 confirms that the correct publication date for this species is 1858. This species is found in Australia (including Tasmania) and New Zealand. The holotype specimen of Chrysolarentia subrectaria, which was collected in Tasmania, is held at the National Museum of Natural History in France.
