About Chrysocoris stollii (Wolff, 1801)
Description: The general color of the dorsum is metallic blue, green, or purple. The abdominal venter is yellow, with a broad purple margin lateral to the spiracles. Spiracles II through VII each have a surrounding rounded black spot. The proepimeroids, mesepimeroids, metepimeroids, and the supracoxal lobes are all yellow. Coxae and trochanters are pale yellow; femora have a black apical annulus and black longitudinal bands; tibiae and tarsi are black. Distribution: This is one of the most common and abundant scutellerid species found in continental Southeast Asia. Its range covers all of Indochina, and extends along the Sub-Himalayan Belt as far north as Pakistan. Verified occurrence records exist for Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Literature records from Korea, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Indonesia are erroneous.
