Chromolaena ivifolia, commonly known as ivy-leaf false thoroughwort or ivyleaf thoroughwort, is a species of flowering shrub in the Asteraceae family. It is native to both North America and South America, ranging from the southeastern United States, including eastern Texas, Louisiana, southern Mississippi, southern Alabama, and Florida, all the way south to Argentina. C. ivifolia is a perennial herb or subshrub that grows up to 150 cm (5 feet) tall. Its flower heads grow in clusters at the ends of branches. Each head holds only red, purple, or blue disc florets, with no ray florets present.
