Chondrina avenacea (Bruguière, 1792) is a species of small, air-breathing land snail. It is a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk that belongs to the family Chondrinidae. This species has six currently recognized subspecies: Chondrina avenacea avenacea (Bruguière, 1792), Chondrina avenacea istriana Ehrmann, 1931, Chondrina avenacea latilabris (Stossich, 1895), Chondrina avenacea lepta (Westerlund, 1887), Chondrina avenacea lessinica (Adami, 1885), and Chondrina avenacea veneta H. Nordsieck, 1962. This species is distributed across Western Europe, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic. In the Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, the species is classified as endangered (EN).
