The blue tuskfish, scientifically named Choerodon cyanodus, is a species of wrasse. It is native to the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean. It is confirmed to occur around Australia, but there are claims that its range extends more broadly across these ocean regions. This species lives on reefs. It can grow to a maximum length of 70 cm, which equals 28 inches. Blue tuskfish are available in the aquarium trade. Their diet consists of mollusks, as well as newly hatched and juvenile green sea turtles that have entered the water.
