About Chlosyne ehrenbergii Hübner
Chlosyne ehrenbergii, commonly known as the white-rayed checkerspot, white-rayed patch, or Ehrenberg's patch, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Nymphalidae. This species is found in Mexico. Adult females of Chlosyne ehrenbergii are highly gregarious, and gather in large groups on Buddleia bushes. Adult butterflies feed on flower nectar from a variety of different flowers, including daisies and other species in the Asteraceae family. The larvae of this species feed on Buddleia species.
