Chloropsis hardwickii, commonly called the orange-bellied leafbird, is a brightly colored bird. It has an orange belly, green back, blue tail and blue flight feathers, and a patch of black and blue covering its throat and chest. It has a long, curved beak. This species feeds on insects, spiders, and nectar. Orange-bellied leafbirds build nests from roots and fibers, which they suspend from the edges of twigs at the end of tree branches. This species does not migrate.
