About Chlorophoneus sulfureopectus (Lesson, 1831)

This species has the scientific name Chlorophoneus sulfureopectus (Lesson, 1831). It is commonly known as either the orange-breasted bushshrike or the sulphur-breasted bushshrike, and is a bird species belonging to the family Malaconotidae. Note that another distinct bird species, Braun's bushshrike, is also sometimes referred to by the common name orange-breasted bushshrike. The orange-breasted bushshrike is widespread across Sub-Saharan Africa, though it is relatively absent from most of Central Africa, Southern Africa, and the Horn of Africa. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, dry savanna, and moist savanna. This species is not migratory.
