Chlorodiloma adelaidae differs from Chlorodiloma crinita only by the absence of a tooth at the base of its columella; its coloration, sculpture, and overall form are identical to those of Chlorodiloma crinita. This is a marine species endemic to Australia, where it can be found off the coasts of South Australia and Tasmania.
