About Chloroclystis catastreptes
Chloroclystis catastreptes, commonly called the green and brown carpet, is a species of moth belonging to the family Geometridae. This species was first described by Edward Meyrick in 1891. It is endemic to Australia, where it can be found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia. Adults of this moth have a wingspan of approximately 2 centimeters, which equals 0.79 inches. Its larvae are thought to feed on plants from the Acacia genus, commonly known as wattles.
