About Chlorochroa juniperina (Linnaeus, 1758)

Chlorochroa juniperina, commonly called the juniper shield bug, is a European shield bug species belonging to the tribe Nezarini. Its distribution spans mainland Europe, ranging from France to Scandinavia. It was declared extinct in England in 1925, following the decline of its host plant, juniper. A plate in The Hemiptera Heteroptera of the British Islands labels this species "Pentantoma juniperina Linn" and places it in the bottom-right corner of the plate.
