Cherleria biflora (L.) A.J.Moore & Dillenb. is a perennial plant species that grows in the form of mats and cushions. It produces flowers from June through August each year. This species occurs in the upper subalpine and alpine zones across North America (including the Rocky Mountains and the Cascades), Central Europe, Northern Europe, and Asia. It grows in dry, gravelly to rocky slopes within the upper subalpine zone, alpine zone, and arctic zone.
