About Chelidonura electra Rudman, 1970

Chelidonura electra, described by Rudman in 1970, grows to a length of approximately 6 to 11 centimeters. This headshield slug has a white body with bright yellow margins and a large, fleshy tail. It is distributed across the tropical Indo-West Pacific region, ranging from Madagascar through Indonesia to eastern Australia. It inhabits shallow sand flats, where it is associated with corals of the genus Porites.
