Cheilosia fasciata (Schiner & Egger, 1853) is a species of hoverfly native to Europe. Like most species in the Cheilosia genus, it is mostly black in color. Cheilosia semifasciata (Becker, 1894) is frequently misidentified as Cheilosia fasciata. This species is widespread across most of Europe, but it is not found in Great Britain.
