Cheilodipterus macrodon, commonly called the large-toothed cardinalfish or tiger cardinalfish, is a species of marine fish that belongs to the family Apogonidae. This species has a widespread distribution across the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region, including the Red Sea. Large-toothed cardinalfish can reach a maximum total length of 25 cm, and inhabit marine waters at depths between 1 and 40 meters.
