About Champereia manillana (Blume) Merr.

Champereia is a genus of plants in the family Opiliaceae that was first formally described as a genus in 1843. Only one known species belongs to this genus: Champereia manillana. This species is native to Guangxi and Yunnan in China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, New Guinea, and Christmas Island. Two varieties of the species are recognized. Champereia manillana var. longistaminea (W.Z.Li) H.S.Kiu is found in Yunnan and Guangxi, while Champereia manillana var. manillana occurs in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, New Guinea, and Christmas Island.
