Chamaesphecia aerifrons (Zeller, 1847) is a moth belonging to the family Sesiidae. This species can be found in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Spain, Portugal, France, southern Belgium, south-western Germany, Italy, Sicily, Dalmatia, the Republic of Macedonia, Albania, northern Greece, as well as on the islands of Crete, Sardinia and Corsica. The larvae of Chamaesphecia aerifrons feed on Origanum vulgare, Thymus vulgaris, Thymus pulegioides, Satureja montana, Calamintha nepeta, Lavandula vera, and various Mentha species.
