Chamaescilla corymbosa (R.Br.) F.Muell. ex Benth., commonly known as blue stars, blue squill or mudrurt, is a tuberous perennial herb in the genus Chamaescilla. It is endemic to southern Australia, and grows across Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. Mature plants reach 10 to 15 cm in height, and have grass-like basal leaves. Its bright blue flowers each have six petals with three nerves each, and six stamens. Flowers grow in groups of two or more, and bloom from August to October within the species' native range. The seed capsules of this species produce black, glossy seeds. Two varieties of Chamaescilla corymbosa are currently recognised: C. corymbosa (R.Br.) F.Muell. ex Benth. var. corymbosa, and C. corymbosa var. paradoxa (Endl.) R.J.F.Hend.
