Chalcosia remota (Walker, 1854) (also referred to as Neochalcosia remota) is a moth species that belongs to the family Zygaenidae. It can be found in China (specifically Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu), as well as in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Its habitat includes parks and areas where Quercus oak species grow. This moth has a wingspan measuring between 50 and 55 millimetres. The larvae of this species feed on plants of the Symplocos genus.
