Chaetopappa asteroides, with the accepted scientific name Chaetopappa asteroides (Nutt.) DC., is a North American plant species belonging to the Asteraceae family. It has two common names: tiny lazy daisy and Arkansas leastdaisy. This species is native to the southern Great Plains of the United States, where it occurs in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, and Arkansas, and to northeastern Mexico, where it occurs in Tamaulipas and Hidalgo. Two varieties of this species are recognized: Chaetopappa asteroides var. asteroides, which grows across most of the species' full range, and Chaetopappa asteroides var. grandis Shinners, which is found in the Río Grande Valley region of Texas.
