Chaetogastra gracilis (Bonpl.) DC. is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the family Melastomataceae. It is native across a large area of South America, ranging from Venezuela in the north to northeast Argentina in the south. This species was first published as Rhexia gracilis in 1823 by Aimé Bonpland. One of its recognized synonyms is Tibouchina gracilis.
