About Cerastis fishii Grote, 1878
Cerastis fishii (Grote, 1878) is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This moth is distributed in eastern North America. In Canada, it ranges from Newfoundland to southern Ontario. In the United States, it occurs from western Maine to Ohio, Michigan, and northern Wisconsin, extending south to North Carolina, and has also been recorded in Tennessee. The wingspan of Cerastis fishii is 30 to 36 mm. Adult moths are active on the wing from March through June. The larvae of this species feed on the flowers and leaves of blueberry plants.
