Cephalanthera erecta (Thunb.) Blume, commonly known as the erect cephalanthera, is a species of terrestrial orchid. This orchid occurs naturally in China, Japan, Korea, the Kuril Islands, Bhutan, Assam, and the eastern Himalayas. Its tiny-leaved form, subaphylla, gets most of its carbon through mycoheterotrophy. This form is mainly associated with fungi from the Thelephoraceae family.
