Centaurea nervosa Willd. is a species of the genus Centaurea. Within Italy, it is common in the northern Italian Alps, and rare in the Tuscan-Emilian region. Outside of Italy, it occurs in the Alps, specifically in French Alpine departments, the Swiss cantons of Valais, Ticino, and Graubünden, the Austrian province of Carinthia, and the Carpathian Mountains of Slovenia.
