About Cechetra minor (Butler, 1875)

This species, Cechetra minor (Butler, 1875), has a wingspan of 90 to 98 mm. The upperside of its thorax does not have a pale medial band. On the upperside of its forewing, there are seven postmedian lines, and an additional seven lines are present on the distal half of the forewing. The base ground colour of the forewing's underside is orange-beige. This species is recorded from northern India, Nepal, Thailand, eastern and southern China, Taiwan, southern Japan, and Vietnam.
