Caulerpa brownii (C.Agardh) Endl. is a species of seaweed belonging to the Caulerpaceae family. It was first formally described in 1843, and is native to both Australia and New Zealand. In New Zealand, this species occurs along the southern coast of the North Island, as well as around the South Island, Chatham Island, Stewart Island, and Snares Island. In Australia, it grows along the coast of Western Australia, across a large stretch of coastline that extends from near Karratha in the northern Pilbara region to east of Esperance in the Goldfields-Esperance region.
