Castilleja wightii Elmer is a perennial herb species. It is native to coastal northern and central California, which is located in North America. This species most often occurs in coastal scrub habitats at elevations below 300 feet, or 91 meters. The bracts of Castilleja wightii display colors that range from red to yellow, and some wild populations of the species have plants with mixed bract colors.
