The white-eared monarch, also called the white-eared flycatcher, is a bird species classified in the family Monarchidae, with the scientific name Carterornis leucotis. It is endemic to northeastern Australia, and its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Originally, this species was placed in the genus Monarcha after its initial description; it was moved to the genus Carterornis in 2009.
