Carlia rubrigularis, commonly called the red-throated rainbow-skink or the northern red-throated skink, is a species of skink that belongs to the genus Carlia. This species is endemic to Queensland, Australia. C. rubrigularis is an example of a species with sexual dimorphism. Males of the species have red-colored throats, while females have pale pink throats. The red throat coloration of males becomes more intense during the breeding season. For female C. rubrigularis, the reproductive period runs from July to April.
