About Carinascincus coventryi (Rawlinson, 1975)

Carinascincus coventryi can reach a maximum snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 5 centimeters (2.0 inches). It has a long tail that measures approximately one and one-third times its snout-to-vent length. This species is found in the Australian states of Victoria and southern New South Wales. Its preferred natural habitat is forest, located at altitudes ranging from 600 to 1,500 meters (2,000 to 4,900 feet). Carinascincus coventryi reproduces via viviparity.
