Canthigaster axiologus Whitley, 1931 is a species of marine fish belonging to the family Tetraodontidae. It is also commonly called the Pacific crown toby. This species lives throughout tropical Western Pacific waters; in the Hawaiian Islands and the Indian Ocean, other species that look very similar occupy this fish's ecological place instead. Canthigaster axiologus is a small fish, with a maximum recorded length of 10.1 cm.
