About Camponotus fragilis

Camponotus fragilis is a species of carpenter ant that is endemic to California, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and western Mexico. This species was first formally described by Theodore Pergande in 1893. It was later synonymized, before being formally revived by Roy Snelling in 2006.
