About Camnula pellucida (Scudder, 1862)

Camnula is a genus of band-winged grasshoppers belonging to the family Acrididae. This genus contains only one recognized species: Camnula pellucida, commonly known as the clearwinged grasshopper. Clearwinged grasshoppers are distributed across most of North America, with the exception of some southeastern states of the United States. This species can become a severe pest of grain crops and rangelands.
