Camissoniopsis pallida (Abrams) W.L.Wagner & Hoch is a low-growing, yellow-flowered annual plant in the evening primrose family, Onagraceae. Its common names are pale primrose and pale yellow suncup. It is native to desert and scrub habitats in the intersection region of Arizona, California, and Nevada. This roughly hairy annual herb grows as a low patch on the ground, and sometimes produces an erect stem from its basal rosette. Its herbage ranges from gray-green to reddish green. Its leaves are lance-shaped and grow up to 3 centimeters long. Its nodding inflorescence bears flowers with yellow petals 2 to 13 millimeters long, each with small red markings near the base. The fruit produced by this plant is a capsule that is straight to tightly coiled.
