About Cameraria hamameliella (Busck, 1903)

Cameraria hamameliella is a species of moth in the family Gracillariidae, first described by August Busck in 1903. It is found in the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Québec, and Nova Scotia, as well as throughout the eastern United States. The wingspan of this moth is approximately 7 mm (0.28 in). The larvae of Cameraria hamameliella feed on plants in the Hamamelis genus, including Hamamelis virginiana. Larvae form mines inside the leaves of their host plants.
