About Cameraria betulivora (Walsingham, 1891)
Cameraria betulivora is a moth species that belongs to the family Gracillariidae. This species is recorded from Ontario and Quebec in Canada, as well as from Maine and North Carolina in the United States. The wingspan of adult Cameraria betulivora is approximately 7 mm. The larvae of this moth feed on plants in the Betula genus, which includes the species Betula alleghaniensis, Betula lenta, Betula lutea, Betula papyrifera and Betula populifolia. Larvae create mines within the leaves of their host plants.
