About Calystegia collina (Greene) Brummitt

Calystegia collina is a rhizomatous perennial herb with densely hairy stems and foliage. Its stem grows prostrate along the ground, and unlike many other morning glory species, it generally does not climb. The stem reaches a maximum length of about 30 centimeters. It produces small leaves that are either kidney-shaped or deeply lobed, with wavy or crinkled edges. Each inflorescence bears a single white flower, which measures 2 to 5 centimeters wide when fully open.
