Calycomyza flavinotum is a fly species belonging to the family Agromyzidae. This species forms whitish, blotch-shaped mines inside the leaves of several flowering plant species from the sunflower family: Ageratina altissima, Arctium minus (lesser burdock), Eupatorium spp., Eutrochium maculatum (spotted Joe Pye weed), and Eutrochium purpureum (purple Joe Pye weed). It has been recorded in the United States, Jamaica, Venezuela, and Brazil.
