Calopogonium mucunoides Desv., commonly known as calopo and wild ground nut, is a flowering plant species belonging to the legume family Fabaceae. It is native to the New World Tropics. It has been intentionally introduced as a forage crop and green manure to tropical regions of Africa, Madagascar, the Indian Subcontinent, Asia, Malesia, Papuasia, and Australia. In certain areas where it was introduced, it has become a serious invasive species.
