Calocoris roseomaculatus is a true bug that reaches a body length of 6–8 millimetres, equal to 0.24–0.31 inches. It has distinctive rosy or reddish markings on its whitish forewings, and a black longitudinal stripe on its scutellum. Adult individuals of this species can be found from June through October. Both adult and larval bugs feed on a variety of plants from the Asteraceae and Fabaceae families, feeding mainly on Lotus formosissimus, Ononis repens, and Anthyllis vulneraria. This species is found across most of Europe. It lives in dry grassland habitats.
