About Calocoris affinis (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1835)

This species, Calocoris affinis (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1835), ranges from 6.6 to 8.3 mm in body length. Females lay eggs during the fall season, and the eggs hatch between June and August the following summer. It is distributed across most of Europe, with recorded populations in Denmark, Germany, Turkey, Serbia, Finland, Spain, Portugal and Italy. It is typically found living in meadow habitats. It has not been recorded in Switzerland and Greece, a lack of occurrence attributed to the mountainous terrain of these regions.
