Calochortus flexuosus produces one long, bare stem, with only one or two small leaves located near its base. The stem may branch, and it is typically winding, bent, or curved. A showy flower grows at the tip of the stem. The flower has coloration ranging from pink or lavender shades to white. The base of each of its petals is solid yellow, marked with white and red stripes or spots.
