Calliophis maculiceps, originally described by Günther in 1858, is a species of venomous elapid snake. It is commonly called the speckled coral snake or the small-spotted coral snake, and it is endemic to Southeast Asia. Five subspecies are currently recognized for this species, including the nominotypical subspecies. Within its endemic region, Calliophis maculiceps can be found in Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
