Calathus micropterus is a species of ground beetle belonging to the Platyninae subfamily. It is widespread across Europe, but is not found in Albania, Andorra, Greece, Hungary, Moldova, Monaco, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Vatican City, or all former Yugoslav states except Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor does it occur on various islands.
