About Calamosternus granarius (Linnaeus, 1767)
Calamosternus granarius is a shiny black beetle with an average body length of approximately 4 to 6 mm. Its body is short and convex. Males and females of this species exhibit slight sexual dimorphism: males have a broad pronotum and a smooth clypeus, while females have a narrow pronotum and a rugose clypeus. The pronotum is marked with deep punctures, and the elytral intervals have very fine punctures.
