Caecilius fuscopterus is a species of Psocoptera in the family Caeciliusidae. It can be found in Great Britain and Ireland, and is also common in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, and Luxembourg. This species is blackish-orange in colour, and is similar in appearance to Elipsocus abdominalis. In terms of habitat, Caecilius fuscopterus feeds on trees including hawthorns, oaks, and sallow, as well as on plants such as rhododendrons.
