Cabestana africana (A.Adams, 1855) is a marine species. Its shell size ranges between 60 mm and 115 mm. The body whorl of the shell is nearly smooth, while the upper whorls have raised spiral ridges. The outer shell is red-brown, and the inside of the aperture is white. This species is found off the coast of South Africa.
